GIGASWORD | Launching November 13th
Our Metroidvina with the biggest sword in gaming (untested) is preparing for launch on consoles and PC in about two weeks (November 13th)!
I talked with Jack, the solo developer on GIGASWORD, about how they are preparing for the launch of their game.

Wow, would you look at the time! After almost seven long years of hard work, GIGASWORD is only a few days away from release! It’s a crazy feeling to finally let your dream project out into the wild, but I’m so excited for everyone to finally get their hands on it.
To everyone who has ever supported this game in any way; thank you so much. Every follow, every wishlist, every kind word has meant the world to me. You guys have been cheering me on for so long, and I truly don’t think I could have done this without you.
Come release day, I’ll be eagerly awaiting all of your feedback! From YouTube playthroughs, to Twitch streams, to discussions about the lore; I wanna be part of it all. It’s gonna be quite the party for sure! And if you wanna join in, please consider hopping into the GIGASWORD discord server! Echo Weaver | Portland Retro Games Expo
Moonlight Kids, the developers on Echo Weaver, went to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo this month, where they shared both The Wild At Heart and Echo Weaver! Instead of me blabbering off what they did, let’s have them speak on it!
Greetings, Weavers! The Moonlight Kids were at Portland Retro Gaming Expo (PRGE) on October 17th. We had a booth all three days showing off Echo Weaver. There was a steady flow of players and we were able to take some valuable notes and got excellent, positive feedback.

As you can see, we had two stations set up. On the right was our Echo Weaver setup. On the left, our first game, The Wild At Heart.
Chris also had the pleasure of introducing his son to his first con! Here he is chillin’ at our booth in between checking out retro games on the other side of the con floor.
Lastly, we showed alongside our game dev friends, Finite Reflection Studios, showing off their newly announced title Mouseward. Go check them out!

Dead Pets Unleashed | Steam Next Fest
Dead Pets Unleashed was featured in Steam Next Fest where I studied and talked about the history of punk going through different topics from the origin to important people to events and more!

Our artist also designed these punk posters that fit the in-game universe of Dead Pets!
I’ve been secretly sharing some of the Dead Pet’s OST under my boss’s nose.
If my boss asks where you hear these banging songs, just tell him that you heard them from playing the Dead Pets Unleashed demo on Steam. Maybe you can try to do better than our video editor who’s gameplay was recorded in the videos.
Rain World | Clothes, Stickers, Plushies, and More!
This month, Rain World had a bunch of merch come out for preorders. If you were worried about not having enough slugcats in your house, then hopefully these will solve those issues.

Montabi | Preparing for the Next Demo Update
The Montabi developers have been preparing for the next demo update! They have been very very busy but I managed to snag them for a few minutes to talk about this update!
Hi Tamers and Montabi friends,
I hope you’re all doing well, staying healthy, and having fun!
This month’s update will be a little shorter, as our team has been fully focused on preparing the next Montabi Demo Update, planned for release by the end of the year. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly and we can launch it right on time!

We’re especially excited that the demo now supports multiple languages, making Montabi more accessible to players around the world.
