I can’t believe we are already down to the final 25% of the year? It has gone by so fast but also so slow at times too.

Montabi | Out Now!

We released Montabi on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 1+2!

We started off the month by releasing Montabi! What a great way to start the month!

The X-Gang has stolen Montabi, caused numerous amounts of damage, and other nefarious deeds. They must be stopped and you, trainer, need to stop them. Play one of three playable trainers each with their own abilities and charms for you to use to turn the tide of the fight! Every Montabi has their own deck and strategies for you to play with and take advantage of the enemy’s weakness! Navigate the 3×3 grid to dodge the enemy attacks and damage the enemy.

These games are point and click adventure games where you will be guffawing through them all. Akupara Games | Akupara Direct and Livestream September 6th!

Next week we are kicking off our 10 year anniversary and we are celebrating with our first annual Akupara Direct, hosted by Alpha Beta Gamer, where we are announcing some news for Rain World, Airframe Ultra, and much more.

Throughout our 10th Anniversary celebrations, there will be announcements, our biggest sales yet, a Discord AMA, and some of the best gameplay you’ll have ever seen for our upcoming titles! We will be playing Rain World, Montabi, Echo Weaver, and many other games during our live stream which will follow our Akupara Direct! We will even have some guest appearances from devs and other friends.

We will be streaming the entire event on the Akupara Twitch channel starting September 6th at 12PM PST / 3PM EST.

New-and-improved Cosmidors

One more thing, we’re excited to share that we’ve completely overhauled the Cosmidors minigame leading into Episode 2! It’s now a lot more quick paced and dynamic, and features a bunch of new enemy types. We like to call it Cosmidors DE!

Long time fans may recognise this as very similar to a minigame in a fangame some of our staff previously worked on, but we can assure you Kumitantei will not be hitting a Dead End any time soon. We will share more details on the revamp a bit later!

Airframe Ultra | Developer Questions

I passed on some questions asked in the Airframe Ultra Discord to developers and they were gracious enough to get out of the basement from the coding mines and answered these questions! They asked for some water afterwards but I made sure they got back to work instead.

Here are their answers!

What do you envision updates to look like post-release?

We will have a roadmap for the community once the game launches. We are planning on supporting this game as long as the community plays and loves it!

What format will the item unlock system be in?

Players will level up as they complete circuits! You build reputation, or “stars”, that allow you to unlock new ways to play your rider during online matches. Money will also accumulate for you to unlock new cosmetic items to deck out your character with cool s**t.
