Rain World is a survival platformer where you play a slugcat trying to reunite with their family, all while they are avoiding the hazards that the ecosystem puts in their way. Being one tier above the bottom of the food chain, they must hunt for food, dodge predators, and find shelters that will be safe from the incoming deluge of rain. With the DLC expansion Rain World: Downpour, we’ve added more regions to explore, slugcats to play as, creatures to avoid, and more. There is a ton of content that many community members draw inspiration from to design and create tons of art, models, animations, and more.
Rain World Art Month is a community event where artists from all around the world take prompts from Rain World and use those as inspiration to design amazing art pieces. Every day in March has a new prompt for artists to draw.

For the first time in the history of Rain World Art Month, we have partnered up with XPPen to host giveaways for the amazing artists who participated in RW Art Month! I’ll give more details in March!
On March 28th, we’ll be celebrating Rain World’s 7 year anniversary with a stream where we will be celebrating by checking out some of the amazing art that comes out from Rain World Art Month with the Videocult developers. This will be streamed on the Akupara Twitch.
