You are Harry Hsu, a young man who recently inherited a card shop from his father, a former champion of the famous card game “Warlock.” With the shop’s reputation on the line, you start working behind the counter, juggling the locals’ requests while trying to familiarize yourself with owning a shop.
Your guide, Giuseppe, a fast-talking Cockatoo, helps you in your buying and selling journey – securing cards of various rarities to top collectors or helping an enthusiastic customer from the neighbourhood.

Kardboard Kings Radio
On Monday January 31st, you’ll be able to hear the Original Game Soundtrack of Kardboard Kings with a special twist! Tune in to the full length recording of the best damn radio station in all of Parakeet Bay, Radio PKB hosted by Orion Duran. We’ll also be debuting the Kardboard Kings soundtrack the same day so you can pick up your favorite tracks as soon as you hear them.
Legendary Card Puzzles!
Before you can unfold the mystery of the legendary cards in Kardboard Kings, solve the Legendary Card puzzles in the Kardboard Kings and Akupara Games Discord servers! The week before the game launches, we’ll be holding a contest on both Discords for players to get Kardboard Kings keys on launch. A series of emotes will be added to the server and the first player to decipher the puzzle wins the key! Puzzles begin on February 7th!
The Kardboard Kings Launch Party
As ever, the day that Kardboard Kings goes live, we’ll be celebrating on the Akupara Games Twitch page with the developers behind the game and an all-day stream to see if we can collect every card in the game! Tune in at 11AM Pacific on February 10th to be a part of the action and feel free to race Buddy to 100% completion.
